September is one of my favourite months – still lots going on in the veg plot, and plenty to harvest. The peppers and chillies have done brilliantly this year, thanks to the hot weather.
I took on 3 new hens a couple of weeks ago – a bluebell, a speckledy, and a Rhode rock/copper maran. They’re settling in well and laying some lovely coloured eggs!
