I’m Bev, and I manage the plot – growing as much of our food on site as I can, mainly from seed.

New for 2025 – I will be selling my produce, eggs, plants and preserves at Langholm Producers Market on the first Saturday of every month. I also sell ‘from the gate’ so get in touch to find out more.

I have a small flock of Welsummer hybrid, Hyline and Cream Legbar hens, for a constant supply of fresh, pasture-raised eggs from happy, healthy ladies.

I make a wide range of jams, jellies and chutneys, using all my own produce – several products have been award winning at a couple of local shows!

I propagate pots of herbs for sale and supply dried herbs too. I also grow tomato, chilli, courgette and other veg plants for sale.

I also have Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, which provide us with all our pork products – bacon, sausages, burgers, joints – everything! I’ve recently started making my own chorizo and salami, a bit of an experiment, but so far it’s been fantastic!
