Some very good news here at Acre Fare! I have been awarded funding from SoSE via the Small Producers Pilot Fund to upgrade some small outbuildings on my acre. These will become storage facilities for fresh, refrigerated, and frozen produce, as well as storage for glassware, egg boxes, etc. I’ll also be able to begin developing the space for future production endeavours. In addition, I’m adding a dehydrator to expand my product range. I’m super excited to get started on this next phase of my business! Things are slowly looking towards spring – onions and garlics appearing, some overwintered caulis are doing OK, and of course, there are beautiful snowdrops everywhere!
