The veg plot is slowing down now, as are the hens. They are into their moulting phase, so egg production will all but cease until March. They have earned a rest! I’m busy thinking about next year – crop rotation plans, which beds to add manure to, what products sold well and what didn’t. I definitely need more potatoes next year…. and less chilli plants! I’m hoping the orchard will really get going next year, it had a cold, dry start this year which affected the blossom, but even so, the pears did well. The final market of the year for Acre Fare this month, I’ve made some crab apple jelly… just in time!
